Product Description
Series KM302 force sensors are double bending beam sensors and due to this shape less sensitive to excentric force application.
This sensors are offered without built in amplifier, but could be combined with our external amplifiers and panel meters.
According to their flat shape the could be easily used in low space applications.

Due to magnetic coupling the drag pulls the wiper sled inside the closed tube which contains the resistive sensor element. This cursor construction provides wearless movement of the magnetic drag and prevents ingress of dirt or dust to the sensor element. On that way IP67 protection is reached for rough environmental conditions. For easy installation the tube contains a flange construction in fitting gauge or with thread. This flange construction provides also hydraulic applications up to 250 bar (450 bar peak). Because of his small dimensions and the cursor construction a space saving integration can be reached. To ensure high accuracy and long lifetime for a good price performance ratio the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. Since the potentiometric measuring principle delivers absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences.

The REM13 series is available with cable or plug connection.
External Amplifier IMA2 RIMA2-R amplifiers are complete signal processing units for potentiometric transducers and convert potentiometric output signals to standardized signals.
The connected sensor is powered with 5 V by default (supply voltages between 0 and 10 V could be realised on request)
Most of commonly used output signals (0..5 V, 0..10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) are available.
The amplifier housing (Phoenix / UEGM) is designed for mounting rails.
