The torque is developed by one rotating piston and is transferred to the output shaft by a synchronising gear train. On this output shaft is mounted the sealing rotor. Both components are rotating without physical contact and with an extremely small air gap for high motor efficiency.This frictionless operation results in long maintenance free operation without downtime.
The totally closed motor housing without breather holes permits applications in wet or dirty surroundings without danger of corrosion in the motor. ARMAK Geared Piston Air Motors are the ideal drive system for all arduous, difficult and long life applications, in particular when combined with the new ARMAK control valves.

ARMAK Gas Pressure Motors
are available in two sizes:
the GGP04 with a power range from 2 to 4 kW
the GGP16 with a power range from 16 to 30 kW.
The motors will operate with system
pressure up to 15 bar and with temperatures up to 130°C
for use with non corrosive media.
The new Armak Gas Pressure Motors are developed to operate in ORC systems as generator drive. They will replace presently used turbines, which are in the power range below 50 kW electric neither performance nor cost efficient.
Armak Gas Pressure Motors will be used in ORC systems connected to CHP units, to solar power plants or to any heat source which is otherwise wasted, in order to produce electric power from such waste heat.
Consider for example a Combined Heat and Power Plant. The combustion engine in this plant has at best 40% efficiency. 60% of energy input is lost. Out of these 60% an ORC system will produce electric power and thereby will increase the overall efficiency, will create electric power without additional energy input

Armak Steam Motors SGP range
are an important development.
The motors are for operation with Steam
at max. 20 bar or. 210 °C and 3.000 rpm
Prototypes SGP01 are under test which should be finished by January 2017
By that time prototypes of motors SGP05 and SGP40
should be under test with production expected to start
second quarter 2017.
Drawings and valid technical data can only be forwarded after the end of testing.
