Contact Edges
The SENTIR edge safety contact edges of ASO Safety Solutions are pressure-sensitive sensors applied to ensure the safety of closing edges at potential crushing or shearing points which are prone to accidents. They may be installed in the case of automatic gates, machines and other facilities for handling equipment or moving stage elements in order to protect individuals from bodily harm or machinery from damage.
Contact Bumpers
Adaptable, extremely versatile and totally reliable. These qualities are the hallmarks of our SENTIR contact bumper. They are highly valued as a guarantee of safety in transport vehicles and industrial trucks, high-shelf warehouses, production lines, mobile systems. In fact, whenever great flexibility of safety equipment is required and a wide selection is demanded in terms of form, color and size.
Contact Mats
The SENTIR mat safety contact mats are laminar sections which are used to safeguard dangerous areas in the entire industrial and production automation. Stepping on the mat triggers an immediate “stop” signal in order to prevent endangering movements.
A single compound polyurethane material assures impermeability against oils, water and dirt. An anti-slip surface is also implemented into the design. Optional checkered surfaces in aluminum or high-grade steel can be used in areas where high mechanical demand is placed on the upper SENTIR matsurface. Individual design, various switching zones and full or partly colored mats are possible.
Safety Relays
ELMON safety relays serve to monitor tactile sensors such as SENTIR safety contact mats, edges and bumpers. All control units comply with EN 13849-1 and the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Ongoing research and development and the use of modern technology ensure a permanent improvement of our ELMON relays.
On moving doors and gates ASO-signal transmission systems INDUS have the task of transmitting the signal from the moving safety contact edge, free of maintenance and wear and tear, to the safety relay. This safety relay guarantees a high level of safety by using redundancy techniques.
All INDUS signal transmission systems are tested according to the current safety standards. During the production process the systems are tested several times to ensure high quality and safety for the user.
Drive Controls
All DRICO drive controls feature a compact design and high flexibility. Various means of communication between the control and the door or gate are possible. Furthermore DRICO drive controls have been optimized to include all the latest safety transmissions. Equipped with a frequency converter doors and gates can be gently operated due to smooth starts and stops. An additional safety-orientated evaluation is no longer required. DRICO drive controls can be found on automatic high speed doors, special cold store doors, all types of sliding gates and vertical doors. ASO's DRICO drive controls are always reliable, even under extreme conditions.
