Intelligent Tank Sensor ITS 60 for Diesel Fuels

BEDIA intelligent tank sensor ITS 60 is used to monitor the filling levels of Diesel fuels. The sensor is able to automatically recognize what kind of Diesel fuel (Bio-Diesel, Summer-/Winter-Diesel etc.) is present and calibrates itself to it.

The capacitative measurement principle permits measurement of levels without mechanically moving parts. This considerably increases stability and operating safety.

 Bimetal Temperature Switches

These high-power bimetal operated temperature switches are available either with normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contact configuration.

 

Bedia Electronical Temperature Sensors

This temperature sensor is for measuring the temperature of liquid and gaseous media in engines, sets of machines and utility vehicles.

A Pt 1000 thin-film precision resistor is used as the measuring element. The temperature-dependent resistance of the Pt 1000 is evaluated by an electronic circuit and outputted as a temperature-dependent voltage at the sensor‘s output. The interrelationship between temperature and voltage corresponds to the characteristic curve for the Pt 1000 and is thus nearly linear.

To meet the constantly increasing requirements for improved motor performance, higher efficiency and reduced emissions, it is necessary to use reliable and precise sensors in modern motor control systems. Temperature has a decisive influence on process efficiency, energy consumption and other parameters. Even the service life of machines, equipment and motors is affected by temperature conditions. In many industry sectors, the most important factor is to use the information from reliable temperature measurements for control and regulation functions

 

Bedia DC/DC Converter for the Car & Industrial Use

The DC-voltage converters developed for the electronic components in the motor car are characterised by their ease of installation in every vehicle. The high degree of stability, the compact design, sustained short-circuit resistance as well as the high level of operating safety are the quality hallmarks of this series.

The areas of application span the mobile employment of 12-V-consumers in vehicles with a 24-V-onboard network. The devices are particularly suitable for operating car radios, stereo units, radios, cooler units, car telephones, computers, 12-V-trailer lighting etc.

The voltage converter converts an input direct voltage into an output direct voltage. The input voltage must be greater than the output voltage. No base load is required at the output end. A 26 kHz PWM switching controller is used for this purpose. Input and output are not isolated. The common earth is connected with the voltage converter housing.

All devices switch off electronically in the event of excess current or a short-circuit. Once the excess load or the short-circuit has been rectified the devices carry on working automatically. Moreover, the voltage converters also have an excess temperature protection system.

Bedia Capacitive Level Sensors

BEDIA level sensors are of high quality, practically main­tenance free and have a wide operating temperature range. They respond to the change of capacitance occur­ring when an electrode surrounded by air is immersed into the medium to be monitored. This capacitance change causes a circuit to oscillate which is processed electronically.

The different versions can be used as MIN/MAX sensors with closed circuit principle. The level sensors are factory-preset as a minimum or maximum sensor with a open circuit or closed circuit principle. The probes have a short-circuit-proof switching transistor output and are available as minus switching or plus switching.

 

Bedia Capacitive Level Sensor NR 260

The NR 260 is a capacitive level sensor for monitoring liquids. It is designed for use in fuel cells. The material is also suited to applications in the chemical industry for monitoring aggressive media.

Bedia Tube Sensor TLS 100

The TLS 100 tube sensor works on the capacitive measuring principle and detects the presence of a liquid in a plastic tube. These plastic tubes may also be mounted as a by-pass on a compensator in order to signal the required medium level in containers.
