Our vapor recovery units (VRU's) are employed to capture diverse gas streams ranging from methane, high BTU blended natural gas streams and carbon dioxide (CO₂) to extremely complex landfill gas (LFG) and petrochemical gases.

Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) VRU's are engineered and designed for versatility, reliability and maximum run times. The VRU's designs incorporate80 years of VRU experience, resulting in rugged and proven vapor capture. HY-BON manufactures 35+ standard VRU models, and offers customized designs for site specific applications.

 
Vapor Recovery Tower (VRT) The HY-BON VRT provides flash gas recovery at near atmospheric pressure without the potential of oxygen ingress from the top of the storage tanks. The VR Tower is used as an interim vessel between the oil/gas separator and the storage tanks, and is considered a “process vessel” under the recent EPA Quad O regulations.

 
Vapor Combustor Unit (VCU) Enclosed Vapor Combustor Units can be used to destroy VOC’s from a storage tank facility. The enclosed VCU provides a solution when vapor recovery is not economically viable, or as a backup for a Vapor Recovery Unit. The VCU is an enclosed flare that is designed to burn low pressure, high BTU gas streams with over 95% control efficiency.
