Ondrives Precision Gears
Precision gears are critical mechanical components used in devices ranging from watches to the drive wheels of tanker ships. Some precision gear configurations also change the direction of rotation, while others can change the angle of axis. Virtually any ratio reduction can be achieved with the right combination of precision gears. Please note that, when selecting any style of precision gear, the pitch and pressure angles of mated gears must be identical.

- Timing Pulleys
- Timing Belts
- Timing Pulley Stock
- Timing Pulley Flanges
Ondrives Timing Belts & Pulleys
Timing belts and pulleys work together to transmit rotary motion on parallel axes. Because they require very little maintenance and can span larger distances with fewer parts than gears, timing belts and pulleys can significantly reduce overall system costs.
Ondrives Timing Pulleys
We offer timing pulleys in a range of styles and configurations to fit your motion transfer application. Or, we can provide modified or completely custom timing pulleys to meet your unique requirements. Our versatile timing pulleys can be used for speed reduction, speed increase, or to transmit rotary motion between two axes.
Ondrives Timing Belts
Our precision-molded timing belts are available in profiles and configurations to match our timing pulleys. We can also manufacture custom timing belts that are tailored to your application and performance requirements. Our timing belts are designed for optimum power transmission in motion transfer applications.
Ondrives Timing Pulley Stock
We offer timing pulley bar stock in a range of profiles, tooth sizes, and configurations to meet your needs. Precision machined from aluminum or carbon steel, our timing pulley stock is ideal for creating custom pulleys and prototypes, or for use where a wider than average pulley is need. With a journal on one end and a pilot hole on the other, our pulley stock is easy to machine as needed.
Ondrives Timing Pulley Flanges
Even under ideal circumstances, timing belts tend to “walk” one way or the other during operation, and can slip off the pulley. Our timing pulley flanges are designed to minimize belt walk and enhance the performance of your motion transfer system. Numerous sizes, profiles, and configurations are available for a perfect fit with your timing pulleys.
Ondrives Shaft Misalignment Couplings

Servo-BEAM can operate at up to 10,000 rpm, up to 7 degrees’ angular compensation and with torques up to 300 in-lbs. Step BEAM couplings are electrically isolating and do not wind up when they reverse direction. Slit BEAM couplings have high rigidity and offer high torque and torsional stiffness.
Ondrives Disc Couplings
We offer two models of disc couplings. Our Oldham sliding disc couplings are 3-piece coupling mechanisms that provide generous radial compensation. They are rated for zero backlash for up to 10,000,000 rotations and electrically isolate the drive from the driven component. Membrane disc shaft couplings have a torsional rigid design that is zero backlash and accommodates up to 4° of angular offset.

Available in Curved Jaw and Cardan Jaw models. The Curved Jaw models accommodate angular misalignment and slight axial misalignment. Cardan models also accommodate radial misalignment.
Ondrives Servo-High Gain Couplings
High gain shaft couplings are flexible and primarily used for servo motor systems in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. They offer zero backlash operation and help servo motors deliver speed-response frequencies without the problematic effects of vibration. These couplings are electrically isolating.

Bellows couplings comprise two end hubs with set screws or an integral clamp to fasten to a shaft. The flex member of the coupling makes deep flexible corrugations to absorb axial forces created by thermal expansion as the motor heats up. Bellows couplings are available in three models offering up to 8 degrees of angular offset and torques up to 1770 inch-lbs.
Ondrives Double Loop Drive Couplings
Our double loop drive couplings are an effective two-stage coupling with exceptional flexibility in angular, radial and axial modes. They are ideal for transmitting rotation in small drives and work without any friction, wear or noise. Available in inch and metric bore sizes. These couplings are electrically isolating.
Ondrives Flexible Insert Shaft Couplings
Flexible insert shaft couplings are a serration type coupling that transmits torque by casing sleeve engagement. They provide excellent flexibility, and high levels of parallel, and angular misalignment allowance. Designed for speeds up to 39,000 RPM. These couplings are electrically isolating.
