MIL-DTL-26482 series I

Mil-DTL-26482 Series I connectors are general purpose, environment resistant, miniature circular connectors with three-point bayonet-coupling and five-key polarization. Designed to meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-26482 Series I, conforming to JSS 50183 solder types, these connectors are widely used in applications calling for quick disconnect connectors.

These connectors are intermateable and interchangeable with all MIL-DTL-26482 connectors, These connectors are used worldwide in military and industrial applications and are available in a variety of sizes, styles and configurations.

26482 series I miniature circular bayonet-coupled solder connectors meet the most critical application needs. Design versatility and high reliability performance make this series ideal for environmental sealing.

Shell: Shell hardware is manufactured from aluminium alloy and cadmium plated with an olive drab chromate finish. This finish has excellent conductivity; it is non-reflecting and corrosion resistant.

 

MIL-DTL-26482 Series II

MIL-DTL-26482 Series II connectors are widely used on Aero Space, Military, Navy Industrial, Power electronics and commercials requiring general-purpose, miniature cylindrical bayonet coupling connectors. MIL-DTL-26482 Series II conforming to JSS 50814, bayonet coupling, circular, rear-removable crimp contact connectors were designed as an upgrade to MIL-DTL-26482 Series I. Series II connectors are intermountable and interchangeable with both solder and front-release crimp Series I.

MIL-DTL-26482 Series II connectors are offered in 4 receptacle-mounting styles. They include narrow flange wall mounting receptacles, wide flange wall mounting receptacles, cable connecting receptacles and jam nut mounting receptacles which incorporate "O" ring seals, designed for rear panel “D” hole mounting. Plugs are available in two designs, with and without RFI grounding.

Insert arrangements as per MIL-STD-1669 are tooled and qualified to MIL-DTL-26482 Series II, utilizing 2 to 61 M39029 contacts. Contacts come in sizes 20, 16 and 12.

 

MIL-DTL-38999 series III

MIL-DTL-MIL-DTL-38999 series III is the newest high density circular connector designed for highest performance capabilities used in both general purpose and severe environment applications.

These connectors feature an improved "one-turn" coupling system, utilizing self-locking acme thread. Acme threads provide coupling durability, while thicker wall sections and greater coupling surface area improve strength and shock resistance. Blunting of the threads on both receptacle and plug coupling nut eliminates cross threading.

The connectors are offered in 9 shell size such as Wall mount receptacle, jam nut receptacle and straight self-locking RFI plug. These connectors are available in wide range of finishes. Aluminum shells are offered in electroless nickel and olive drab cadmium. Anodic and zinc cobalt finishes are available upon request.

Metal-to-Metal Bottoming - This feature precludes relative shell-to-shell motion, which may result in ordinary connector wear and moisture entrapment.

 

 

Backshells

MIL-DTL-26482 series I

Backshells for MIL-DTL-26482 SERIES I . These are the accessories compatible with miniature circular bayonet-coupled connectors according to MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1. The standard finishes of these accessories are Cadmium with olive drab chromate. Other alternate finishes are also available on request.

The back shell are classified as

5. Strain relief clamp with RFI/EMI environment protection

MIL-DTL-26482 Series II

Bakshells conforming to AS/85049 to intermate with MIL-DTL-26482 SERIES II connectors.

These are the accessories compatible with miniature circular bayonet-coupled connectors according to MIL-DTL-26482 Series II. The back shell are light weight and compact in size. The standard finishes of these accessories are Cadmium with olive drab chromate and Electroless nickel . Other alternate finishes are also available on request.

The standard finishes of these accessories are Cadmium with olive drab chromate and Electroless nickel. Other alternate finishes are also available on request.

These cap and chain assemblies are used with Mil-DTL- 26482 series I & II connector, The protective covers gives additional protection against moisture, dust and sand. The caps are manufactured from aluminum.

The standard finishes of cap & chain are Cadmium with olive drab finish, Electroless nickel and anodized black . Other alternate finishes are also available on request. The chain is manufactured from stainless steel and is passivated.The dust cap also comes with rope assembly. We also build Protective dust cover to customized connectors.

 

MIL-DTL-38999 series III

These cap and chain assemblies are used with Mil-DTL-MIL-DTL-38999 series III connector, as protective covers giving additional protection against moisture, dust and sand. The caps are manufactured from aluminum. It is available in range from 9 to 25 shell sizes.

The standard finishes of cap & chain are Cadmium with olive drab finish, Electroless nickel and anodized black . Other alternate finishes are also available on request. The rope is manufactured from stainless steel .
