Heating Elements
Cartridge Heaters	We are a leading manufacturer of a wide range of high performance cartridge heater .Cartridge heaters are of robust construction and consist of high grade nickel chromium resistance wire evenly stretched and threaded through an assembly of suitable fluted refractory bobbins.These elements are sheathed in seamless stainless steel/brass tubes of required diameter and filled with fused magnesia.
Bobbin Heater	Another type of heater is Bobbin Heater.This type of element is fitted in a metal tube for applications in liquid and ovens.
Tubular Air Heater	We are engaged in offering a wide range of Tubular Heater.Tubular Heating elements are versatile and perform exceptional heat transfer by conduction, convection or radiation to heat air,gases and surfaces.
Tubular Immersion Heater	We specialize in the manufacture of high quality Immersion Heater.The Immersion Heater are specifically designed to heat different kinds of liquids. Made using high grade Stainless Steel,Copper and Incoloy pipes.These heaters are brazed to threaded flanges or nipples for immersion purpose.

Thermostat
Cartridge Thermostat	The basic element of all thermostat controls, all the desirable features of the ideal thermostat – high sensitivity, wide adjustment range, small sized, rugged construction, vibration resistant, and low cost are included in this thermostat control. This unit may be inserted in a 15.875mm (5/8") reamed hole.If reamed hole is used; a short spline should be added this prevents thermostat from turning when the temperature adjusting sleeve.
Types of thermostat Based on various Mounting of Thermostat
Hex Head Thermostat	Has all the internal features of the cartridge type above with a addition of a standard pipe thread for mounting purposes. A dial and knob can be supplied with model
Block Head Thermostat	This unit may be inserted in 15.875mm (5/8") reamed hole of the medium to be controlled. lt has the same mounting characteristics as the cartridge type unit but is designed so additional component such as a dial and knob may be included.
Flange Head Thermostat	Has all the features of the block head type except a mounting flange has been provided for easy mounting.
Coupling Head Thermostat	The coupling head unit has a hexagonal mounting section with standard male pipe threads at each end, either of which may be used for mounting. This unit may be directly attached to electrical conduits.
Modifications
Dial & Knob A dial and knob may be added to applicable units. Graduations on dial are marked from '1' to '7' for adjustment to higher or lower temperature. When ordering specify desired temperatue pointer will be set on No.4 dial position. Temperature locking device After a thermostat unit has been calibrated, it is advisable to lock the temperature adjustment sleeve to prevent unauthorized tampering with the setting.The locking device is also desirable if the unit is to be subjected to extreme vibration in service. Extended Lead Wires Lead wires may be extended to any length.Wire Lengths are specified as portion of lead wire outside of thermostat unit. Extended length Sometimes standard length (95 mm ) of thermostat cannot reach to the desired position in an unit .Under such conditions length of the thermostat is extended as per the requirement. Extended Temperature Adjusting sleeve Under certain conditions,it is desirable to extend the adjusting sleeve.Sleeve length are specified as portion of sleeve outside of thermostat units. Protective well for liquid insertions The use of Protective well is recommended for:  1. When the removal of a hex or coupling head thermostat unit would require draining of the container in which it is inserted.Use of a well assembly permits removal of a thermostat unit at any time without other disturbance.  2. When surrounding ambients are subject to extreme changes thus affecting thermostat unit.The well makes it possible to insert the thermostat completely into the medium being controlled,thereby eliminating these embient temperature effects or "head effect". 3. For protections of the thermostat unit from external forces or blows which would tend to affect its operation.  4. When fluids have a corrosive action on the shell of the thermostat unit.
Operating Principles:
These S.S. Son Thermostats are strut and tube type thermostats comprised of two basic parts (1) the outer shell made of high expanding metal and (2) the strut assembly made of low expanding metal A pair of electrical contacts is mounted on  the strut assembly and installed in the shell under tension or compression' Because each end of the strut assembly is mechanically connected to the ends of the shell, a net change in force is produced on the low-expansion strut assembly as the high expanding shell expands or contracts with changing temperature. The temperature at which the contact’s make is considerably better than that obtainable from other types of Thermostat, such as the snapacting type. Low load switching differentials of less than 0.1 C are achieved.

Sensors
PT-100 Sensors	Pt-100 Sensors: S.S.SON CONTROLS manufactures Pt-100 sensor confirming to all international standards. Accuracy in measurement of Temperature, faster response, sturdiness, ease in maintenance and  replacement are  the main criteria of design. Standard dimension -O.D 15.8mm x 95mm.Non standard size can be manufactured on request.
RTD Sensors	RTD sensor: Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD’s) are temperature sensing devices consisting of a wire coil or deposited film of pure metal, usually platinum. The element’s resistance increases with temperature in a known and repeatable manner. RTD’s exhibit excellent accuracy over a wide temperature range. Non standard size can be manufactured on request.
Thermocouple	Thermocouple: Thermocouple consists of two wires of dissimilar metals welded together into a junction. At the other end of the signal wires, usually as part of the input instrument, is another junction called the reference junction. Heating the sensing junction generates a thermoelectric potential (emf) proportional to the temperature difference between the two junctions. This millivolt-level emf, when compensated for the known temperature of the reference junction, indicates the temperature at the sensing tip. Non standard size can be manufactured on request.
