Safety Valves

Sempell delivers reliable safety valves for high pressures
and flow rates, as well as a complete range of controlled
safety valves for sophisticated applications.
The Sempell software package BABSY will support your
project planning. With Sempell’s mobile testing system,
SESITEST is it possible to check the valves in a running
system.

Isolation Valves

Sempell forged gate, globe and check valves serve the power
generation markets. Applying cutting edge material science
and valve designs, Sempell isolation and non-return valves
are designed for all types of power plants, including super-
critical plants, which operate at temperatures up to 720° C.

Nuclear-Valves

Since the 1960s Sempell develops valves for the nuclear
power industry according to the highest technical standards
and supplies nuclear power plants all over the world with
special system solutions.

DEWRANCE

Since 1999 the company Dewrance belongs to the
Sempell GmbH.
Dewrance supplies a wide range of parallel slide gate
valves, feedwater heater isolation valves, bled steam
check valves and specialty tilting disc check valves
for the feedwater and steam systems of the power
generation market. Dewrance isolation and non-return
valves deliver lower pressure drops, improved reliability
and repeatability.

INTERVALVE

Since 2009 the company Intervalves belongs to the
Sempell GmbH.
Intervalve’s complete range of high pressure gate,
globe and check valves focus on the ASME new
construction power generation market.

Actuators

Various electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators
are used depending on various valve type and application.

NARVIK/YARWAY

The precise control of final steam temperature is
critical for the safe and efficient operation of
steam generation cycles. Narvik / Yarway specializes
in products to control steam temperature in a range
of applications, with innovative desuperheating spray
technology providing precision control and high
performance where the proper delivery of steam
temperature is critical to plant operation.
