Photoelectric Sensors

Description
The SpaceMaster series consists of a wide selection of self-contained photoelectric sensors all housed in cylindrical (tubular) housings of different dimensions. These include industry standard Ø10, M12, M18 and snap-in 12.7 mm cylindrical housings which are all available with either a cable or plug connection. The series offers a selection of operation modes, which include thru beam (separate transmitter and receiver), diffuse proximity, retro-reflective, and fibre sensor.
The series offers a choice between AC or DC supply voltage, and the output can be chosen between a transistor or solid state output. All the transmitter models include a test input that may be used for either disabling or enabling the transmitting power temporarily for test purposes or multiplexing applications. The DC models are all protected against reverse polarity of supplies, control input and output signals. The output is protected against short circuit and inductive loads. The complete series includes power-on and output indicators. Sensitivity can either be adjusted via an integral potentiometer or via a control wire input, depending on the selected model.

Description
The Photoelectric Amplifier series consists of a wide selection of single channel photoelectric amplifers which are to be used in conjunction with Telco’s line of remote photoelectric sensors, that may be used in thru beam or diffuse proximity. A selection of the amplifiers provide high penetration power which are suitable for applications with contaminated environments. The series can achieve sensing ranges of over 70 m in thru beam and 5 m in diffuse proximity. All the photoelectric amplifiers are housed in enclosures with an 11-pole DIN socket connection.
Supply voltage can be selected between AC and/or DC, and the output can be selected between a transistor and/or relay output. The series offers a choice betweem automatic and/or manual sensitivity adjustment, with or without on/off time delay adjustment via integral potentiometers located on the front panels of the amplifiers. Light or dark function, and long and short range is switch selectable. A selection of the models offers sensor LED drives which powers optional monitor LEDs (power-on and output) available on the remote sensors.

Description
The Remote Sensor series consists of a wide selection of remote photoelectric sensors, which are made to operate in conjunction with a Telco photoelectric amplifier. The remote photoelectric sensors consist of a separate transmitter and receiver sensor, which are available in a wide range of housings that may be used thru beam or diffuse proximity mode. The series is available with an optional power-on indicator in the receiver sensor and output indicator in the transmitter sensor, for use with any Telco photoelectric amplifier which has the sensor LED drive feature incorporated.

Description
The Multiplexed Amplifier series consists of a wide selection of 2, 4 or 8 channel multiplexed photoelectric amplifiers which are to be used in conjunction with Telco’s line of remote photoelectric sensors, that may be used in thru beam or diffuse proximity. The channels operate independently of each other with their own set of remote sensors. The multiplexing function ensures that optical cross talk between channels is prevented.
Supply voltage can be selected between AC or DC. The series offers a choice between relay and/or transistor output, which can be chosen as a common output or as individual outputs for each individual channel. The series offers manual sensitivity adjustment for each individual channel and on/off delay adjustment via integral potentiometers located on the front panel of the amplifier. Light or dark function, and long or short range is switch selectable for each individual channel.

Light Curtains

Description
The SpaceGuard series consists of a choice between a remote light curtain system and self-contained light curtain system. Both systems include a separate transmitter and receiver detector which are available in slimline (10x28 mm) and leading edge (37.5x13 mm) aluminium profiles. The light curtain system generates multiple infrared light beams betweem the transmitter and receiver detectors. When one of these light beams are obstructed, an output is activated.
The remote light curtain system consists of a transmitter detector, receiver detector and controller. The series offers detectors with 16 to 64 parallel infrared light beams and a total height of 0.57 m to 2.10. m. The controller offers a choice between AC and DC, and the output can be selected between an NPN transistor output and relay output. The controller offers a choice between automatic and manual sensitivity adjustment via potentiometer. Light or dark function, and long and short range is switch selectable. The time-out function is configurable – the number of channels and the time-out time period is switch selectable.
The self-contained light curtain system consists of transmitter detector and receiver detector. The system is available as a 20 channel system which generates 94 crossed infrared light beams, and as a 40 channel system which generates 194 crossed infrared light beams. The series is available with a DC supply voltage, and the output can be chosen between transistor and solid state output. The system requires no on site set-up. The sensitivity is automatically adjusted for each individual channel. The transmitter detectors include a test input that may be used for either disabling or enabling the transmitting power temporarily for test purposes. The time-out function can be enabled or disabled via wire connection. The detectors are protected against reverse polarity of power supplies, test input and output signals. The output is protected against short circuit and inductive loads.
