WT Henley / Cable Accessories
- LV/MV Resin filled Joints
The unique patented WT Henley Moulded Insulation Resin Protected Joint, has been developed over the years to become perhaps the simplest to install and the most reliable medium voltage cable jointing system available today
- Polyurethane Resin Compound
W T Henley has developed and manufactures a range of Polyurethane Resin Compounds, primarily intended as a filling medium for both LV and MV Cable Joint boxes and terminations
Supplied as a 3-part mix, this product is designed as a temporary cable joint repair where customers have a requirement to re-enter the joint, which is typically within 72 hours.
- Electrical Stress Control Mastic
A pliable self amalgamating tape for electrical stress control, void and gap filling for MV power cable accessory applications. High permittivity and low loss tangent gives the mastic excellent stress controlling properties
Designed as a general purpose non-hardening, water resistant mastic void filler, this compound is especially suitable for electrical installation work with rubber or polythene cables, where it may be necessary to protect parts from moisture or fumes
WT Henley / Polymeric Insulators
11, 24 and 33kV Insulators, incorporating WT Henley's unique EPDM cladding material on a strong GRP rod
dedicated polymeric applications team are capable in taking design concept through to the production stage. We have the ability to produce OEM polymer components in both EPDM and Silicone
- Railway and Light rail Insulators
A reliable Rail network requires reliable insulators at its heart and although many new designs have been added to our ever expanding range over the years, the formulation of our EPDM has never changed and our reliable service history continues to be one of our greatest assets
WT Henley / Low Voltage Fusegear
House Service Cutout Series 5
Manufactured in robust, Glass Reinforced Polyester (DMC) material 60/80A or 100A versions available.
The Series 5 range has been designed as a replacement for existing PILC installations. Interchangeable phase and neutral/earth terminals enable simple installation, without the need to disturb cable polarity. They are equally suited both to paper and polymeric insulated cables.
House Service Cutout Series 6
Manufactured in robust, Glass Reinforced Polyester (DMC) material 60/80A or 100A versions available.
Compliant with BS7657, this range is especially suited for use on Separate Neutral and Earth (SNE) systems.
SP and SP+N+E cut-outs are available - the units may be combined to form triple pole sets
House Service Cutout Series 7
Manufactured in robust, Glass Reinforced Polyester (DMC) material 60/80A or 100A versions available.
Market leading range, compliant with BS7657, designed for use on CNE systems.
SP and SP+N/E cut-outs are available - the units may be combined to form triple pole sets
Series 7 Close Coupled
With all the features of the standard S7 but with a specially designed turret which interfaces directly with meter entry ports to prevent the theft of un-metered electricity via tap-offs between the cut-out and meter.
- Insulated Connector Boxes (Henley Blocks)
Our Connector Boxes are all designed to accept copper conductors, whist types 2 and 3 can also be used with aluminium.
- Insulated Connector Boxes
WT Henley has designed and manufactures a comprehensive and popular range of Insulated connector Boxes for a variety of applications and situations
Our Connector Boxes are all designed to accept copper conductors, whist types 2 and 3 can also be used with aluminium.
With the exception of our smallest model (type 1) which is manufactured in nylon, the rest of our highly successful range is manufactured in our own formulation tough, arc resistant grade of Glass reinforced polyester (DMC)
WT Henley has designed and manufactures a choice of 2 four pole insulated Heavy Duty Cutouts. Designed to accept BS 88 'J' type fuse-links, both these products are suitable for use with stranded / solid copper or aluminium conductors with conductors from 95 - 300mm²
Moulded from high impact glass reinforced polyester material, which is inherently flame retardant and posses an electrical tracing resistance >600 (CTI).
Standard shrouded through grip Carriers are provided for phase connection/isolation.
200/400A and 630A options are available
Slim-line, compact model designed for wall or pole mounted options, manufactured from a UV stable flame retardant glass filled nylon, the box fully meets the requirements of BS 7656 / ENATS 43-14
The box is designed to accept incoming conductors with a maximum size of 120mm² and nine service cables of up to 35mm².
Rising Service Boxes (Multiway Service Heads)
Our range of Multiway Service Heads provide a safe and reliable means of supply/isolation for subdivided properties such as blocks of flats or large house conversions
.
Typical applications include, groups of domestic housing, holiday homes and parks, mobile and static caravan parks, agricultural and animal housing
WT Henley has a choice of two slim-line single phase models, incorporating either a single pole or double pole switching action. Both of these are manufactured from glass reinforced flame retardant materials, designed to be robust yet lightweight, incorporating a low force lever release system
WT Henley / Subsea Cable and umbilical accessories
- Subsea Cable repair Joints
For the repair and maintenance of Submarine Transmission and Distribution systems, WTH have designed and developed a family of repair joints capable of enduring the extremes of mechanical and electrical stresses encountered during system installation and operation
.
To enable the safe installation of the cable to the platform or riser deck, WTH have designed a pulling head which connects directly onto the cable armour layer(s)
The name WT Henley has been synonymous with Subsea Telegraphy and Power Distribution since the company was founded in 1837.
We have an impressive track record of supplying many of the world's largest Utilities, Gas and Oil majors with specialised subsea cable accessories, essential to enable the installation and maintenance of Subsea power and communication distribution systems.
WT Henley is fully audited and approved to ISO 9001: 2008 under certificate number 11261. We can draw on a wealth of knowledge and experience in the design of Subsea cable accessories and the full backing of our team of design engineers further complements this
Special Products
Our product range includes specially designed pulling heads to ensure that torsionally balanced cables safely reach their destination (at the platform) as well as temporary and permanent armour clamps.
Other products include explosion proof cable termination boxes, 'J' tube bungs and bend stiffeners.
Typical Products
Pulling head
To enable the safe installation of the cable to the platform or riser deck, WTH have designed a pulling head which connects directly onto the cable armour layer(s). This ensures that all mechanical forces associated with pulling the cable via the 'J' or 'I' tube are borne by the armour with minimal transference of strain to the underlying components
Armour Termination Hang off
Once installed and at the top of the 'J' tube the cable is mechanically secured by the installation of a hang off clamp. The cable armour is terminated within a clamping arrangement that ensures the mechanical stresses expected to occur during service life are safely borne by the cable structure. Where appropriate, Cable hang off's can be supplied combining core breakout and/or jointing to topside cable.
Other Accessories
In addition, WTH can provide the full range of accessories required to enable the successful installation and operation of a full range of Electrical or Composite Electrical/Optical Submarine Cables and Umbilical's including
Beach Clamps
Beach/Transition Joints
Bend Stiffeners
Bend Restrictors
