For easy mechanically integration, the housing provides a flange construction with fitting gauge or thread. This flange construction is also suitable for hydraulic applications up to 350 bar (500 bar peak). In the IP67 sealed housing the magentostrictive sensor element and the electronic runtime measurement are integrated. The position evaluation of the magnetic cursor is transformed contactless into a linear analog signal 0,1..10,1 V or 4..20 mA. The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with inside spring return device. To reach high accuracy the push rod is guided with precise sleeve bearings. The precise sleeve bearings are placed inside the shaft with the fitting diameter of 8mmh6. On the push rod an accurate glass scale is mounted. Inside the sensor housing the glass scale passes an electronic board with optical detector which generates counting pulses in TTL or Line Driver level up to 5µm resolution.
