Product Description
Series KM1101 force sensors are characterized by their rugged structure. The sensor body is S shaped and is produced from one piece of steel. Force application occures by bearing area of hexagonal bolt.

The push rod can be equipped with an inside spring return device. The spring return version of the CLP21 makes the sensor space saving and robust, because of the front guided construction and 6mm diameter in the push rod. For mounting the CLP21 has four fixing clamps which are included in the scope of supply. To ensure high accuracy and long lifetime for a good price performance ratio the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. Since the potentiometric measuring principle delivers absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences. Customization on the push rod (length, thread, flat ...) is available on request.

The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod with inside spring return device. To reach high accuracy the push rod is guided with precise sleeve bearings. The precise sleeve bearings are placed inside the shaft with the fitting diameter of 8mmh6. On the push rod an accurate glass scale is mounted. Inside the sensor housing the glass scale passes an electronic board with optical detector which generates counting pulses in TTL or Line Driver level up to 5µm resolution. Due to the glass material the measurement is very temperature stable.
