General Features:

The Belt Conveyor's Protection Thermo Ramsey PRO-LINE are made with a waterproof housing, common to three models, which contains the microswitches operated through cams by the external lever.

The housing has three cables inlets, thus allowing the conduit connection of unit mounted on the two sides of the conveyor without needing additional junction boxes. The cover of the housing is locked by four stainless steel shake-proof screws.

Internal springs are made with corrosion resistant material.

 Technical Features:

Heavy duty construction - cast aluminium case. IP65 protection. Horizontal and vertical mounting through adjustable lever position. Right and left side operation. Internal terminal board with 6 screw terminals suitable for 2,5 mm2  wires. 3 cable inlets threaded PG21 allowing installation without additional junction boxes.

Three models of PRO-LINE protections can be supplied :

Belt run - Off switch model 60-30E/60-30F

Emergency Switch model 60-31E/60-31F

Limit Switch model 60-32E/60-32F

Belt run - Off switch model 60-30E

This model  contains one alarm microswitch and one shut-down microswitch. The alarm switch is operated by a 15° inclination of the external lever, while the shut-down switch is operated at 30°. Maximum lever inclination is 65°. The external lever is equipped with a roller which, in normal operating conditions, is not in contact with the belt and thus keeps its vertical posiotion.

The roller is sized for a maximum speed of 4000 R.P.M., equivalent to the approximately 8 m/sec belt speed.

In the model 60-30F, the unit is equipped with a by-pass lever which by-passes the shut-down contact to allow the restarting of the belt. Each internal microswitch has NC contact, connected to the terminal board.

Emergency Switch model 60-31E

The external lever is equipped with two rollers to connect steel cords for remote operation of the switch from both sides. When operating (on both sides), the lever has a mechanical lock, manually resettable, by the external reset lever. This feature makes the remote restartign impossible, thus eliminating the possibility of restarting the belt, ehrn people are locally working on the conveyor. The unit is equipped with a microswitches operated at a 18° inclination of the external lever.

In the model 60-31F, each microswitch has NC contact, connected to the terminal board.

 Limit Switch model 60-32E

The position of the external lever on the shaft may be changed as required, thus allowing the mounting of  the housing on a horizontal, vertical or any inclined plane. The external lever is equipped with one contact wheel to be operated by the controlled machine.

The unit is equipped with microswitches operated at a 18° inclination of the external lever.

In the model 60-32F, each microswitch has two NC contacts, both connected to the terminal board.
